Pet Sitting
There is no better place for your pet than their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells and routines. My dog sitting service offers exactly that - professional, attentive and seasoned overnight care in the comfort of your own home, with no kennels, no strange environments and no unnecessary stress. I stay at your home for the duration of the sit, giving your pet constant companionship, their normal routine and the individual attention they deserve. From feeding and walks to cuddles on the sofa, your pet's day will look and feel as normal as possible.
Elderly and health-complex dogs often need more from their carer, not less, and that is exactly what they receive with Skye & Paws. This specialist level of care is included as standard within my sitting rate, because every dog regardless of age or health deserves to be cared for with the same dedication and love.
I predominantly care for dogs, however I am happy to discuss households with cats and other pets alongside their canine companions. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
€65 per night (24hrs) for up to 2 dogs. +€15 per additional dog.
Dog Grooming
My grooming service is offered exclusively as an add-on to dog sitting bookings, meaning your dog is groomed in the comfort and familiarity of their own home by someone they already know and trust. There are no stressful trips to an unfamiliar salon, no waiting in an unknown environment and no handling by strangers. I am a professionally trained groomer with years of experience working with most breeds to show standard - including dogs competing at Crufts. I use only the finest natural, chemical-free products throughout, chosen for their gentle and holistic credentials and their kindness to your dog's skin and coat.
Whether your dog needs a full groom, a bath and brush or anything in between, every appointment is carried out with patience, expertise and genuine care for your dog's comfort and wellbeing. For expat dog owners across Europe, finding a professional English speaking groomer of this standard can be genuinely difficult - I am here to change that.
House Sitting
Sometimes a home simply needs a trusted, responsible presence whilst its owners are away - regardless of whether there are pets involved. My house sitting service offers exactly that. I arrive in my motorhome and stay on site for the duration of your absence, providing a visible and reassuring presence that deters opportunists and gives you complete peace of mind that your property is safe and secure.
I am happy to carry out whatever tasks you need during your absence - watering plants, collecting post, airing the house or any other light property care you require. Beyond that I respect your home entirely as your own private space and will only enter as and when you have requested.
This service is specifically designed for rural and semi rural properties - the beautiful open landscapes I travel through are exactly the kind of locations I love. Whether you are visiting family, travelling elsewhere in Europe or simply need a trusted presence whilst you are away, I am here to ensure your home is in safe hands throughout.
Please note that I do not offer this service in city centres or heavily built up urban areas - it simply would not be the right fit for the way I work or the lifestyle I lead.

How My Services Work
At Skye & Paws my services are built around one core offering - professional overnight pet sitting and house sitting. I come to you, caring for your home and your pets in their own familiar surroundings, so your pet is never alone and your home is always secure. Every sit includes feeding, walks, companionship and general care as standard, with a minimum booking of two nights.
Dog grooming is offered exclusively as an add-on to dog sitting bookings - it is not available as a standalone appointment. This means your dog benefits from being groomed in the calm and familiarity of their own home by someone they already know and trust. For dogs who find new environments stressful, or who have never enjoyed the salon experience, this makes an enormous difference. If you would like grooming included during your sit simply mention this when you get in touch and I will arrange everything around your booking.
STEP 1 - Get in Touch: Reach out via my contact page or email me directly at hello@skyeandpaws.com Tell me a little about your pets, your home and the dates you need cover. I will come back to you promptly to discuss your requirements and check my availability.
STEP 2 - Let's Get to Know Each Other: Before any booking is confirmed I will arrange a meet and greet - in person where geography allows, or via video call for clients further afield. This gives you the chance to get to know me, ask any questions and feel completely comfortable before committing. I will discuss your pet's routine, personality, any specific needs they may have and whether you would like grooming included during the sit.
STEP 3 - Confirm Your Booking: Once everyone is happy I confirm your booking with a 50% non-refundable deposit. This secures your dates and means I will turn down other work to be there for you. The remaining balance is due on my arrival. If you have chosen to include a dog grooming treatment during the sit, this will be added to your final balance and is also due on arrival.
STEP 4 - I Arrive: with time to spare before you leave - settling in properly is important to me and I will never rush you out of the door. I stay at your home to care for your pet while my husband looks after Lily and Grace in our motorhome on site, meaning your dog and our dogs can be kept completely separate or introduced gently at your pace, whichever you prefer. This is also the perfect opportunity for everyone to get comfortable with one another in your pet's own familiar surroundings.
STEP 5 - Your Pet is in Safe Hands:While you are away your pet enjoys their normal routine in their own home, cared for with the same love, attention and natural approach I give to Lily and Grace. I am always available should you wish for an update - I am happy to send photos, videos and messages to keep you reassured throughout your time away. I am also happy to arrange a video call if you would like to check in with your pet or see their groom if one is booked.
STEP 6 - You Return Home: You come home to a happy, well cared for pet and a secure home - exactly as you left it. I hope your experience with Skye & Paws will be the first of many, and I would be truly grateful if you felt able to leave me a review to help other pet owners find me.
